MEET OUR TEAM
Riz Khan is a passionate nonprofit leader, community organizer, and entrepreneur dedicated to creating real change. As President of Little Angels Foundation in St. Louis, he leads efforts to support people experiencing homelessness, children, and refugees with food, clothing, and essentials. His work has earned national recognition, including honors from Former President George H.W. Bush’s Points of Light and the St. Louis Business Journal’s Champion of Diversity & Inclusion award and many more.
With a background in global markets and strategic partnerships, Riz has helped scale ventures worldwide, working with industry leaders. He also serves on the Board of the United Nations Association (St. Louis) and advocates for Zero Hunger as a UNA-USA Global Goals Ambassador.
A graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business with leadership training from Cornell, Riz enjoys fast cars, action sports, poetry, and time with family. His motto: An Equal Sky for All.

Ishita Shah is a junior at Marquette High School in Chesterfield, MO, driven by her commitment to academics, leadership, and community service. Ishita Shah is a junior at Marquette High School in Chesterfield, MO, driven by her commitment to academics, leadership, and community service. Ishita plans to pursue a future in computer science, using technology to create solutions that benefit both society and the environment. As the founder and president of the Girls Who Code Club at her school, Ishita strives to empower young women to explore and excel in STEM fields. Ishita is also passionate about environmental advocacy. She serves as a National Operations Director for the Junior Philanthropists Foundation, where she works to push for environmental policy at both state and national levels. In her free time, she enjoys painting and swimming. She also values giving back to her community, regularly volunteering through the National Honor Society and local initiatives. She is honored to volunteer with the Little Angel’s Foundation and support their mission.

She is passionate about STEM and also has a strong interest in learning different languages to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Ria is a sophomore at Saint Louis University, majoring in Biology on the pre-med track. She is passionate about STEM and also has a strong interest in learning different languages to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Beyond academics, Ria has been actively involved with several organizations. Since 2021, she has worked with the Little Angels Foundation, donating over 600 children’s books to Afghan refugees and children, as well as helping pack and deliver meals to those in need. She has also partnered with GiveIndia to raise funds during the COVID-19 pandemic to support hospital equipment. Alongside these efforts, Ria enjoys tutoring students from diverse backgrounds and volunteering with initiatives like Campus Kitchen and LearnToBe. Ria is excited and honored to continue working with the Little Angels Foundation to help further its mission and reach even more people in need.

She has also launched a school snack bar to raise funds to buy toys, books and blankets for the Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
In her role as a Youth Champion of Little Angels Foundation since 2021, Rebecca has helped with supporting food and clothing drive for the Afghan Refugees, helped cook monthly meals for homeless and for shelters. Occasionally, she also makes an effort to set aside time to pack hot boxed meals for the homeless.
Rebecca’s blend of academic excellence and impactful service work highlights her compassion and drive to make a meaningful impact on the St. Louis community and beyond.

He eagerly volunteers with the Little Angel Foundation as they compassionately reach out to those in need in the community.
